HOW IT HAPPENED
- 2:38 1st (Miami 1-0) | The RedHawks claimed an early lead on a goal from Bradley Walker less than three minutes into the game. After Nicholas Mikan fired a shot, Ethan Hay grabbed the rebound and slid a pass over to Walker to finish.
- 14:27 1st (Miami 2-0) | Miami doubled its lead on a power-play goal by Ilia Morozov later in the first period. David Deputy sent a pass to Vladislav Lukashevich, who teed up Morozov for a rocket one-timer past RIT's Jakub Krbecek.
- 16:56 3rd (Miami 3-0) | The RedHawks added some insurance with 3:04 to play on an empty-net goal from Matteo Giampa deep in his own zone. Lukashevich won the puck in the corner and earned his second helper of the game, while Kocha Delic had the primary assist to Giampa.
- 18:42 3rd (Miami 4-0) | The Red and White closed the scoring on another empty-netter with just over a minute remaining, as Miami set up possession in the offensive zone and Doug Grimes tipped home a centering feed from Casper Nassen. Ryder Thompson added an assist on the play.
