Volleyball Welcomes Six Additions to 2026 Roster

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami Volleyball has announced the addition of six new members for the 2026 season. Sophia Stallworth, Kendall Bosse, Madison Brown, Rachel Morgan, Reesa Zimmerman and Ria Furuta will join the RedHawks' roster next season.

Sophia Stallworth, 6-0, OH/OPP, Orlando, Fla./Winter Park
High School:
Gwitt on Stallworth: ""Sophia is a strong pin hitter from Orlando, Florida, ranked 56 on PrepVolleyball. She comes in with a winning mentality, being a two-time State Champion in Class 7A in Florida," said Gwitt. "With her many recognitions by AVCA (2025 AVCA Best and Brightest First Team), AAU (2024 AAU 16 Open All American) and PrepVolleyball, we are excited for her physicality and energy to be in the gym with us next fall!"
Kendall Bosse, 6-1, MH, Ross, Ohio/Ross
High School:
Gwitt on Bosse: "Kendall, ranked 70 on PrepVolleyball, is a local athlete who has dominated this area," said Gwitt. "Kendall is coming off being the Southwestern Buckeye League player of the year and now holds two individual records at Ross High School: kills in a season (430) and career kills (1,279). Being from a top 20 club in the country, Tri-State Elite, we know she will come in ready to fight for not only a role on the team, but to make our program successful."
Madison Brown, 5-9, S, Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville
High School:
Gwitt on Brown: "We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Madison to our program. She's coming off an incredible career at Noblesville High School, where she set both the single-season (1,075) and all-time assist records (3,921), a testament to her consistency and leadership," Gwitt said. "As a two-time captain, two-time First-Team All-Conference, and 2025 First-Team All-District selection, she's proven she can lead and perform at the highest level. Ranked #89 on PrepVolleyball's Top 150 for the Class of 2026, she brings an elite skill and competitive drive that will make an immediate impact in our gym!"
Rachel Morgan, 5-8, L, Milford, Ohio/Milford
High School:
Gwitt on Morgan: "Rachel is an outstanding defensive leader hailing from Cincinnati, who played for top programs at Milford High School and Elevation," said Gwitt. "A two-time ECC Defensive Player of the Year and three-year team captain, she has consistently set the tone with her competitiveness and drive. She led Milford in digs during the 2024 and 2025 seasons and will graduate as the all-time career digs leader with 1,712, an incredible achievement. On top of that, she earned First-Team All-District honors. Her leadership and defensive tenacity will make an immediate impact on our program."
Reesa Zimmerman, 6-1, OH, Batesville, Ind./Batesville
High School:
Gwitt on Zimmerman: "We are excited to get Reesa on the court with us this spring! She is a physical athlete with a strong arm, holding two records at Batesville High School: kills in a season (429) and kills in a single game (31)," Gwitt said. "With her time playing for Elevation and being on a top-25 team for her age group, we know she has been getting trained to be ready to enter our gym and make an impact. With the extra semester of training in our gym, we will be excited to get her on the court in the fall and see her impact in the MAC."
Arianna "Ria" Furuta, 5-5, L/DS, Union, Ky./Larry A. Ryle
High School:
Gwitt on Furuta: "We're so excited to welcome Ria to our program. She has competed for top competitive programs like NKYVC and Ryle High School," said Gwitt. "A 2025 team captain who led her team with 515 digs, she earned AVCA Best and Brightest First Team, AVCA All-Region and All-District MVP honors. We can't wait to see the energy and competitiveness she brings to our gym next year!"

Sophia Stallworth, 6-0, OH/OPP, Orlando, Fla./Winter Park

- Currently attends Winter Park High School
- Coached by Stephanie Gibson
- 2025 FHSAA 7A State Champion and 2025 AVCA Best and Brightest First Team as a senior
- Totaled 172 kills, 40 blocks and a 2.02 passing percentage in her senior season
- A part of the top-ranked team in Florida (14th nationally) in 2025
- 2024 FHSAA 7A State Champion, 2024 Metro East Conference Second Team and
2024 FACA All-Academic in her junior season - Recorded 229 kills, 26 aces, 104 digs and 32 blocks as a junior
- A part of the top-ranked team in Florida (10th nationally) in 2024
- Played club volleyball for Top Select 18 Elite
- Served as 16U and 17U Club Team Captain
- Named a 2024 AAU 16 Open All American, 2023 PrepVolleyball Club 15 All-American and 16UOpen All-American (Third Team)
- 2025 UA Next All American Camp Invitee
- 2023 PrepVolleyball AAU Nationals 15 All Tournament First Team
- Ranked as the 56th player nationally and 14th player regionally

- Holds the school record for kills in a season (430) and kills in a career (1,279)
- Part of a team that set a record for wins in a season (23)
- Played club volleyball for Tri-State Elite (17th-ranked club in the country)

- Totaled 489 digs, 44 aces and a 2.0 passing average in her junior season
- Conference Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-District and AVCA phenom Watch List as a junior
- Holds school and conference record of 1,712 career digs

- Qualified open every year (third in open at USAV nationals twice)

- Totaled 429 kills, 245 digs and 64 aces in her senior season
- Batesville Female Athlete of the Year and All-Conference in her junior season
- Recorded 413 kills, 247 digs and 54 aces as a junior
- Played club volleyball for Elevation
- 23rd in 17 Open (2025), second at MEQ (2025) and second at Bluegrass
