OXFORD, Ohio— The RedHawks lost to Ohio 12-11 Sunday after a brutal comeback by the Bobcats.

- Ryan Novak then took an HBP, walking in Appelwick for run number three and keeping the bases full. David Novak was also hit by a pitch on the next at-bat, bringing Miami to a 4-0 lead.
- Mastrian IV faced three batters and sent three down in the top of the second.
- MacDonald led off the second with another walk and advanced to third on a single by Batusich.

- Caleb Karll doubled to left field, bringing three around and making it a 7-3 game after the top of the third.
- Tyler Gordon led off the bottom of the third with a single up the middle and advanced to second on a groundout and third on a passed ball. MacDonald then hit an RBI groundout to put Miami ahead 8-3.
- Carson Byers struck out three batters in the top of the fourth, holding Ohio scoreless.

- Trae Cassidy was the next batter to record a BB, walking after a 3-1 count to push Finney to home plate and make it 10-8.
- Continuing the on-base streak, Smith took an HBP, pushing Karll into score and putting the tying run at home plate with two outs.
- Nick Dolan then doubled to left center, scoring three runners and taking the lead for Ohio for the first time at 12-10.
