RedHawks Ready For Robert Kepler Invitational

Miami Golf returns to action this weekend at The Robert Kepler Invitational hosted by Ohio State. The RedHawks will play on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in a 54-hole event made up of 18 teams.

The Course
The Scarlet OSU course is a true championship venue. It has hosted many Korn Ferry Tour Championships and high caliber amateur events. It is a very long golf course with demanding shot values, and an enormous amount of fairway bunkers that make the golf course extremely difficult. The newly renovated Jack Nicklaus design is ranked fourth among best college campus courses and will represent a significant test for some of the best teams in the country.

"This is a course that really hits home with me personally. I have played in multiple OHSAA State Championships along with multiple Robert Kepler Invitationals. I feel comfortable here and I am really excited to coach these guys this weekend with my course knowledge. We struggled here last year (as we were young), but we now have four guys in this week's lineup that have played in this event. They have learned from their mistakes last year and understand what skill set is required in order to perform on such a hard course setup. Our team is very long off the tee, and I believe this lineup in particular will really excel on this venue. It will be set up extremely difficult and par will always be a great score. This is our last event before the MAC Championship, and we look forward to gathering some momentum from this event. Playing Scarlet will prepare us greatly for Chatham Hills next weekend."
