MUNCIE, Ind.-- The RedHawk cross country teams raced in the MAC Championships Saturday at Ball State University to get the postseason underway. The RedHawk men finished in second place as a team with 51 points, while the Miami women came in ninth with 230 points.
 HOW IT HAPPENED:
For the women, Annie Christie was the highest-placing RedHawk, as she finished in 28th place with a time of 21:49.2. Nora Zubillaga was next, coming in 36th with a time of 22:09.0. Linda Conchetto (22:35.9) and Ella Daddario (22:42.7) finished in 56th and 61st place, respectively. Cara Razavi rounded out the top five for the RedHawks, taking 67th place with a time of 22:49.1.
For the men, Mhalicki Bronson led the Red and White, finishing in sixth place with a time of 24:25.9. Patrick Wills was right behind him, coming in seventh with a time of 24:27.3. Chris Perkins finished in ninth place with a time of 24:32.0. Petros Sánchez Ropero (24:41.2) and Tom Heal (24:46.1) took 13th and 16th place, respectively. Miami's team score of 51 was only two points behind Toledo (49), the men's team champion. This marked the 10th consecutive year the RedHawk men produced a top-three team finish at the MAC Championships.
Four Miami men earned All-MAC recognition: Bronson and Wills claimed First-Team All-MAC honors, while Perkins and Sánchez Ropero were Second-Team All-MAC.Â

The RedHawks travel to Norton, Ohio to run in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, November 15.
