NORTON, Ohio-- The RedHawk cross country teams competed in the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Cross Country Regionals Friday. The RedHawk men finished the 10k race with 12th place with 357 points, while the Miami women ran a 6k and came in 22nd place with 630 points.

- For the women, Annie Christie led the way for the RedHawks, as she finished in 72nd place with a new PR time of 20:57.4, beating her previous time by 8.7 seconds. Nora Zubillaga (21:41.1) and Linda Conchetto (22:04.2) finished in 117th and 139th place, both setting PRs by 27 seconds. Cara Razavi finished in 152nd place with a time of 22:15.7, setting a new PR by 33 seconds. Ella Boate finished just behind Razavi, as she came in 158th place with a time of 22:24.6. Boate was the fifth RedHawk to set a new PR, as she beat her previous time by nearly seven seconds. Gianna Labbiento (22:54.0) and Ella Daddario (22:56.2) finished in 180th and 182nd, respectively.
- For the men, Mhalicki Bronson was the highest placing Miami runner as he finished in 48th place with a time of 30:27.4. This time was a PR for Bronson, as he beat his previous record by 37.4 seconds. Freshman Chris Perkins was right behind Bronson, finishing in 59th place with a time of 30:40.4. In the first 10k of his collegiate career, Tom Heal finished in 73rd place with a time of 30:56.3. Patrick Wills finished just behind Heal, as he finished in 77th place with a time of 30:58.9. Victor Orsinelli (31:37.1) and Petros Sanchez (31:42.7) rounded out the top seven runners for the RedHawks as they finished in 100th and 104th, respectively.
