Miami looks to start a winning streak in conference play with a trip to No. 18/18 Colorado College this weekend. The RedHawks (7-11-2, 1-8-1 NCHC) are coming off a 4-3 victory over then No. 10 Western Michigan Saturday to earn a series split and their first league win of the season. The Tigers (11-8-1, 5-5-0 NCHC) split a pair of games last weekend at Minnesota Duluth, grabbing a 3-2 overtime win Saturday night.
This weekend's games are set for Friday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, Jan. 20. Friday night's game will begin at 9 p.m. ET and will be nationally-televised on CBS Sports Network with Alex Heinert (play-by-play), Dave Starman (analyst) and Shireen Saski (rinkside reporter) on the call. Saturday's game airs on NCHC.tv. at 6 p.m. ET. Greg Waddell's radio broadcasts will be available on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.) Friday and WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio) Saturday.
Colorado College leads the all-time series 19-11-4 and posted 5-1 and 4-1 wins over Miami in Oxford in November. Miami is winless in the last 11 meetings with the Tigers and looking for its first victory in Colorado Springs since Jan. 10, 2020.
Matthew Barbolini (8-12-20) is averaging a point per game and leads the RedHawks in points and assists.
PJ Fletcher (9-9-18) has a team-high nine goals for Miami.
Logan Neaton is 6-10-2 in net and owns a 3.06 GAA and .901 save % in 18 starts.
