HOW IT HAPPENED:
- 9:21 1st (WMU 1-0) | Sam Colangelo's slap shot at the top of the faceoff circle off a pass from Carter Berger scored a power play goal for the Broncos to give them a 1-0 lead midway through the first period. Ethan Phillips also recorded an assist on the play.
- 9:04 3rd (WMU 2-0) | The Broncos doubled their lead to 2-0 when Dylan Wendt put the puck just out of Neaton's reach so that Luke Grainger could scoop it up and send to Zak Galambos, who got the goal.
- 12:35 3rd (Miami 2-1) | Moulton cut the deficit to 2-1 just three and a half minutes later. Matthew Barbolini made a centering pass that Albin Nilsson touched across the crease to Moulton, who promptly deposited it to the back of the net.
