RedHawks Fall on the Road to Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W. Va.-- The Miami soccer team lost to Marshall on the road 2-0 Thursday evening to snap the RedHawks' two-match winning streak. Marshall improves to 5-0-1, while the visitors drop to 2-3-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marshall opened the scoring in the 61st minute on a header across goal from a corner by Cassidy Bell and assisted by Katie Porter.Â
- Marshall got a second through a long shot in the 84th minute by Olivia Gandee that looped over Dominique Popa.Â
NOTES
- The RedHawks out-shot Marshall in the first half 4 to 2.
- Miami was whistled for 18 fouls compared to Marshall's seven.
