OXFORD, Ohio-- The Miami soccer team earned a 1-0 win over Eastern Kentucky at Bobby Kramig Field on Sunday afternoon. This is the RedHawks' third straight home win. Miami now has a record of 3-3-1 and Eastern Kentucky falls to 1-5-1 on the season. Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Haley Anspach got the only goal of the game on a low cross from Taylor Hamlett to the top of the six-yard box.
- Hamlett had Miami's other best chance when she hit the crossbar early in the second half.Â
NOTES
- Miami held Eastern Kentucky to two shots all game.Â
- Sophomore Mallory Thomas earned a clean sheet in her first full appearance of the season.Â
- Miami had five players take multiple shots in the game.Â
