RedHawks, Sycamores Battle to Scoreless Draw

OXFORD, Ohio— The Miami University soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Indiana State Sunday evening at Bobby Kramig Field. The RedHawks move to 0-1-1 with the result in their home opener. ISU is now 0-0-2.

- Miami's best scoring chance of the first half came on a 13th-minute shot by Taylor Hamlett that ISU defender Adelaide Wolfe cleared off the goal line.
- Mallory Thomas saved an shot by Ella Gorie in the 53rd minute that proved to be the visitors' only shot on goal.
NOTES
- Miami outshot Indiana State 17-4 in the match.
- Hamlett led Miami with five shots and was one of four RedHawks to be credited with a shot on goal.
- The RedHawks attempted seven corner kicks compared to the Sycamores' two.
- Goalkeeper Dominique Popa played the first half for Miami, with Thomas coming on in the second half to make her collegiate debut.
