OXFORD, OH — The RedHawks defeated Bowling Green State University and Northern Kentucky University during a two-round tri-team tournament at Hueston Woods.
Danny Fisher led Miami, shooting 11 under par and taking first of all the individuals. Miami's team score was 557 (276-281).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fisher (66-67--133) shot six under par in round one and five under par in round two. He shot five birdies in each round.
- Jack Ebner (72-69--141) and Sam West (68-73--141) each tied for fourth individually and finished three below par. West made six birdies in round one alone.
- Brett Podobinski (70-75--145) finished in ninth place individually with a two-round score of one above par.
- Scott Bitar and Egor Zotov, who played for Miami's "B" team, tied for 10th place overall at two above par.
- Miami's team score of 557 put them 19 strokes below par and 18 strokes ahead of second place Northern Kentucky University.

Miami heads to Spartansburg, South Carolina, on April 3-4 to compete in the Wofford Intercollegiate.
