Things to Know for the 2023-24 Miami Hockey Season

Miami Hockey gets the home portion of its schedule underway this weekend at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena. The RedHawks will host Canisius on Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14; tickets are available now!

With puck drop coming up soon, here are a few things fans need to know this year.

Start Times
Each of the 17 home games on Miami's schedule this season is set to begin at 7:05 p.m. (Start times of conference games are subject to change due to television.) Based on fan feedback and to allow for consistency throughout both the weekend and the season: No matter the game you plan to attend, expect puck drop to take place at 7:05!

Beer Sales On Lower Level
New this year at Goggin Ice Center, beer will be available for purchase on the main level of the arena. Drink offerings will include specialty craft beers and seltzers from Swine City Brewing in Fairfield, Ohio. Beer will be sold on the east concourse beginning this weekend, with potential additional locations to be added as needed throughout the season.

Promotional Schedule
Fun, fan-favorite promotions such as the Skyline Parachute Drop, Kemba Cash Grab and Rapid Fired Pizza Light the Lamp return in 2023-24. Left Field Tavern Chuck-A-Puck will continue to take place on Saturday nights and will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County. Miami fans can also win free tacos with every RedHawk victory! The Miami University synchronized skating program will perform at intermission on Oct. 27 (senior team), Dec. 8 (collegiate team), Jan. 12 (senior team) and Feb. 2 (collegiate team). Dates for other promotions at Cady Arena such as Skate with the Hawks and Autograph Night will be announced later in the season.

Season tickets, half-season tickets, 'Pick Any 8' plans, 'Pick 5' plans, group opportunities and individual tickets are available to customize your Miami Hockey experience this season. Please contact the Miami Athletic Ticket Office at (513) 529-4295 to order season, half-season or group tickets. For ticketing questions, email RedHawkTix@miamioh.edu. Miami Athletics will continue to utilize digital tickets during the 2023-24 season.

Digital Parking
Prepaid parking in the Campus Ave. garage is available here. Event parking is in effect on game nights from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. All parking passes will be digital. Parking is also available on various streets and in surface lots around the venue. Please follow and obey all posted signs. Miami University is a cashless campus. Please be prepared to use a debit or credit card for all parking, concession, ticket and apparel purchases while attending any Miami Athletics event.

Miami Apparel and Souvenirs
Miami fans will continue to have the opportunity to purchase Miami apparel and souvenirs inside Goggin Ice Center during the 2023-24 season! The Goggin Pro Shop is located on the main level as you enter the facility from the Campus Avenue side of Goggin Ice Center.
