HOW IT HAPPENED:
- 4:18 1st (1-0 UND) | North Dakota struck within the opening five minutes of the first period. On the power play for the Fighting Hawks, Chris Jandric took the puck at Miami's blue line, sending a pass up to Riese Gaber that was then knocked over to Jackson Blake. Blake's successful one-timer gave UND an early lead.
- 12:13 1st (2-0 UND) | The Fighting Hawks doubled their lead later in the period. Tyler Kleven received a faceoff pass behind UND's net and delivered it to the blue line, where it chipped off the stick of Nick Portz and sailed ahead to Carson Albrecht. Skating one-on-one up the ice, Albrecht finished past Ludvig Persson to make it 2-0.
- 2:41 2nd (3-0 UND) | The score moved to 3-0 in North Dakota's favor early in the middle period. While moving around the RedHawks' zone, Ben Strinden dropped the puck back to a trailing Judd Caulfield. Caulfield sent a pass behind him to Kleven, who took the shot into Miami's net.
- 1:54 3rd (UND 4-0) | UND added to its lead less than two minutes into the final period. Caulfield brought the puck up the center of the rink, handing it off to Owen McLaughlin near the RedHawks' goal. McLaughlin skated behind the net and wrapped a pass around to Matteo Costantini, who knocked in the shot to make it 4-0.
- 11:16 3rd (Miami 4-1) | Miami finally got on the board midway through the third on a power play opportunity.
