Miami returns home for the first time in 2023 to battle North Dakota in a weekend series. The RedHawks come in at 7-15-2 (2-11-1 NCHC) after dropping a pair of games at Omaha to end a four-game trip. The Fighting Hawks are 10-11-4 (4-8-2 NCHC) after a split at home with Minnesota Duluth. UND is receiving votes in both major polls.
North Dakota leads the all-time series against Miami 23-8-4. The teams faced off for the first time in 1999 in Milwaukee and played a total of three times before the formation of the NCHC in 2013. In November, the RedHawks picked up their first win at UND since 2017 in a weekend split.
Matthew Barbolini (9-11-20) leads the RedHawks in both goals and assists this season.

Friday's game will air on CBS Sports Network, with Alex Heinert (play-by-play), Dave Starman (analyst) and Shireen Saski (rinkside) on the call. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night. Saturday's game starts at 7:05 p.m. and will be broadcast on NCHC.tv.
