HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the bottom of the third, trailing 2-0, William Escala tripled to right-center field. The following at-bat Nick Neibauer drove in Escala, cutting the Bobcat lead in half.
- In the bottom of the seventh, trailing 6-1, Escala reached base on a hit by pitch, shortly after Benji Brokemond reached base, putting runners on first and second. The following at-bat Zach MacDonald drove in both Escala and Brokemond with an RBI single, cutting the deficit to 6-3.
Miami Game Notes:
- Brokemond went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
- MacDonald went 1-for-3 with two RBIÂ and an outfield assist.
- Parker Lester went 2-for-4 with a double.
- Escala reached base twice with a triple and two runs scored.
