Baseball Falls To Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. The Miami baseball team dropped a 15-2 decision at Indiana University Tuesday afternoon. The RedHawks fall to 3-4 on the season, while the Hoosiers are now 2-5.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Indiana took an early 6-0 lead in the second inning.
  • In the top of the third, JJ Woolwine walked and Benji Brokemond doubled, putting runners on second and third. Cole Andrews then drove in a run with a groundout, putting the RedHawks on the board.
  • In the top of the fifth, after a Woolwine walk, Nick Neibauer singled and Dalton Back walked to load the bases. Woolwine then scored on a wild pitch.

What's Next:
            The RedHawks head to Georgia Southern University this weekend to begin a three-game series. First pitch on Friday, March 4 is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
