HOW IT HAPPENED:
Bowling Green started the first set up three. A kill from Maggie McCrary and service ace from Ellie Hanson brought the score to 2-3. Miami trailed by three as the halfway mark approached at 8-11. Shortly after, Bowling Green found their rhythm; the Falcons went on a 9-1 run to bring the score to 20-9. The RedHawks attempted a late push, coming within seven at 22-15. Allyson Severance recorded five kills during the run to propel the RedHawk offense. The Falcons went on to hold their lead, taking a 25-15 set win.

The Falcon offense built momentum early, taking a 7-0 lead at the beginning of the second set. Miami stayed resilient, outscoring Bowling Green 6-1 to close within two. A pair of kills from Brooke Jackson helped drive this run by the RedHawks. Bowling Green managed to extend their lead to 16-9. Miami came within five points towards the end of the set, ultimately losing 18-25.

After early back-and-forth scoring, Miami took the lead at 10-9. This was thanks to a Caroline Cermack kill. The Falcons responded, scoring the next three to regain the lead at 12-10. An error, two kills and a service ace led Miami to take back control at 14-12. Bowling Green stayed competitive throughout, trailing by just a few points as the set came to a close.
