RALEIGH, N.C. — The Miami University golf team is tied for first place after the first two rounds of North Carolina State's Wolfpack Intercollegiate. Along with Lipscomb, the RedHawks shot a team score of four under par on the day.
Cameron Pero and
Jack Ebner led the RedHawks and are in the top 10 individually, shooting three under par and two under par, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Cameron Pero is tied for fifth place overall, having shot a 70 in round one and a 71 in round two.
- Jack Ebner is tied for eighth place overall after shooting a 72 in round one and a 70 in round two.
- Brett Podobinski tied for 16th individually on the day, having shot a 73 in round one and a 71 in round two to finish even on the day.
- Danny Fisher shot one over par through the first two rounds and Cole Walter shot 13 above par through the first two rounds.
- The RedHawks made 35 birdies overall, leading the invitational.
- Miami's team score was 572 strokes, four under par.

The RedHawks will look to keep their lead Sunday as the tournament concludes at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh. Tee times begin at 8 a.m.
