TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Miami University softball team outscored the University of Toledo Rockets 17-0 and out-hit UT 25-1 on Friday afternoon, taking both games by scores of 9-0 and 8-0 at Scott Field. Miami improves to 29-7 overall and 19-1 in Mid-American Conference play, while the Rockets drop to 19-14, 9-8 MAC.

How it Happened (Game One):
- Courtney Vierstra continued her magical season, throwing yet another no-hitter. The senior recorded 10 strikeouts in 6.0 innings pitched.
- Maclai Branson singled to left to plate two RedHawks and Mackenzie Moore tested the right side to add two RBI as Miami claimed a commanding 4-0 lead after one inning of play.
- Moore's solo shot in the third put Miami up 5-0 and Branson picked up her third RBI of the contest with a single in the top of the fourth to hand Miami a 6-0 advantage.
- Miami scored three more in the sixth to run-rule the Rockets. Branson, Moore and Lily Wilmot had back-to-back-to-back doubles to pick up RBI.

How it Happened (Game Two):
- Miami kept the offense humming in game two, scoring three runs in the top of the first. Allie Cummins, Maclai Branson and Mackenzie Moore all picked up RBI.
- Cummins' grand slam in the second inning put Miami up 7-0.
- Karlee Juarez hit a solo shot in the fourth and Brianna Pratt did the rest. The junior got the win, allowing just one hit in 4.0 innings pitched, while recording five strikeouts.
