KENNESAW, Ga. – The Miami University softball team finished up its road trip with a 5-1 loss to Kennesaw State University on Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the RedHawks to 4-5 on the year, while KSU improves to 5-6.
How it Happened:
- Kennesaw State took an early 1-0 lead, scoring a single run in the bottom of the first.
- Karlee Juarez tied it up in the fifth with a solo shot, but the Owls plated four in the bottom part of the fifth to take a 5-1 lead.

Miami plays a neutral-site game against DePaul in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday, March 6 and follows that up with a game each versus DePaul and at Louisville on Sunday, March 7.
