SATURDAY'S GAME: The RedHawks hit the road for a 1 p.m. game at Indiana State on Saturday, Dec. 4. It will be the final game for Miami until the RedHawks head to Clemson for a Dec. 14 game. 

ABOUT INDIANA STATE: The Sycamores enter Saturday's game with a 3-5 record and have lost four straight, including an 88-76 loss at Loyola on Wednesday in their conference opener. Cooper Neese averages a team-leading 14.9 ppg, while Cameron Henry averages 13.9 ppg and team-bests of 6.3 rpg and 3.9 apg. 

THE SERIES WITH THE SYCAMORES: Saturday marks the eighth meeting at Indiana State with the Sycamores holding a 4-3 edge in the series. The RedHawks have won the last two meetings, including a Dec. 4, 2007 game in Oxford, 74-56, and a Feb. 17, 2007 game in Terre Haute, 74-58. The Sycamores' last win in the series was at the Puerto Rico Shootout on Nov. 25, 2000, 54-46.

BROWN POISED TO BREAK MIAMI CAREER START RECORD: Tying Ron Harper for the career starts record of 118 with a start against Cincinnati on Wednesday, senior forward Dalonte Brown is set to break the record with his next start. Brown also is one game away from tying the Miami career record for games played, which is held by Geovonie McKnight (126).

CENTURY CLUB: Senior forward Precious Ayah and senior guard Isaiah Coleman-Lands became the latest members of Miami's Century Club, playing in their 100th career games against Cincinnati on Dec. 1. Senior forward Dalonte Brown is already a member of Miami's Century Club for games played (125). One other RedHawk also is closing in on joining them: senior guard Mekhi Lairy (94).

20/20 VISION: With a 20-point effort against Cincinnati on December 1, senior guard Mekhi Lairy notched his second 20-point scoring performance of the season. Lairy recorded 23 points in the season-opener at Georgia Tech, the most points by a RedHawk this season thus far.

GRANT RANKS 18TH NATIONALLY IN ASSIST/TURNOVER RATIO: Junior guard Dae Dae Grant has been doing a little bit of everything for the RedHawks and ranks 18th nationally and leads the MAC in assist/turnover ratio (3.86). He is scoring a team-best 17.0 ppg this season, which ranks fourth in the MAC, while shooting 50.0% from the field. Grant owns a team-leading 16 triples and ties for second in assists (27). He also is averaging 4.1 rpg.
