TUESDAY'S GAME: Miami rounds out a two-game home stretch when the RedHawks host Spalding at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21. This is the final non-conference game for the RedHawks and their last game before the holiday break.
ABOUT SPALDING: The Eagles enter Tuesday's game with a 2-7 record, dropping their last three, but have not played since a Dec. 8 loss to Franklin. Christian Stewart leads the team, averaging 11.9 ppg and 6.1 rpg. Troy Amanor follows at 10.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg.
THE SERIES WITH THE EAGLES: Tuesday is the first meeting between the teams.
UP NEXT: Miami hits the road to open Mid-American Conference play, traveling to Buffalo for a 4 p.m. game on Wednesday, Dec. 29. The RedHawks are 50-24 in MAC openers and are 25-15 when opening conference play on the road. This is the second straight year Miami has opened MAC play against Buffalo. The RedHawks return home to host Central Michigan at 3:30 p.m. in the second part of a New Year's day doubleheader at Millett Hall on Saturday, Jan. 1.
