Miami takes a short break from NCHC action for a home non-conference series against the LIU Sharks this weekend. After playing nine of their first 12 games away from Oxford, the RedHawks will be home for seven of their next eight games. LIU is in its second season as an independent Division I hockey program, and this is the schools' first all-time meeting.
Puck drop at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET Friday, Nov. 26 and 5:05 p.m. ET Saturday, Nov. 27. The games will be available on NCHC.tv and WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.).
Miami enters the weekend at 2-9-1, while LIU comes in at 2-7-3.
Head coach Chris Bergeron and senior forward Jack Olmstead met with the media this week to preview the LIU series.
