ABOUT BOWLING GREEN & THE SERIES WITH THE FALCONS: Bowling Green enters Wednesday's match with a 19-8 overall record and a 15-2 Mid-American Conference mark. The Falcons had won four straight until dropping a five-set match at Ohio on Saturday afternoon. Miami is 52-36 in the series with Bowling Green and an even 19-19 when playing in Bowling Green. The RedHawks have lost the last five against the Falcons, including a three-set decision in Oxford on Oct. 20 this year and a five-set heartbreaker in the MAC Tournament semifinals last year in Bowling Green. Miami's last win in the series was in Oxford on Oct. 10, 2019, 3-0 and its last win in Bowling Green was on Sept. 22, 2016, 3-0.

HARPER JOINS 1,000 DIG AND 1,000 KILL CLUB: Senior
Gaby Harper recorded her 1,000th career dig against Western Michigan on Oct. 8 and notched her 1,000th career kill on Nov. 12 at Kent State, becoming just the ninth player in program history to hit the  1,000 milestone for both kills and digs and the first to do so since Carli Reihman (2004-07). She currently owns 1,155 career digs and 1,022 career kills. She is two away from breaking onto Miami's career Top-10 dig list.Â

- Senior Gaby Harper has played in 107 career matches, eclipsing the 100-match mark against Bowling Green on October 20. Senior Sophie Riemersma has played in 96 career matches.
- Sophomore Maggie McCrary ranks sixth in the MAC in hitting percentage in conference matches, hitting .335.
- Senior Gaby Harper has produced 13 kill/dig double-doubles this season, including nine of Miami's last 12 matches. Senior Sophie Riemersma has eight kill/dig double-doubles, including five of MU's last nine matches.
- RedHawk players have put together five 20-plus dig matches this season with three coming from sophomore Taylor Nomanson and two from freshman Margo Lawson. Nomanson's 25 digs against Marshall on Aug. 28 are the most by a RedHawk this season. She notched her last 20-dig outing with 23 at Toledo on Oct. 29. Lawson posted 23 against Western Michigan on Oct. 8.
- Sophomore Abby Stratford has put together some strong efforts as of late. She has five multi-block efforts in Miami's last six matches, including seven (1 solo; 6 assist) against Ohio on Nov. 6 and five at Kent State on Nov. 13 (1 solo; 4 assist). She also notched two of her three double figure kill efforts over the last four matches, recorded 10 each against Ohio (Nov. 5) and at Kent State (Nov. 12).
- Freshman Brooke Cirigliano leads Miami with 69 blocks this season and has recorded at least one block in each of the 23 matches she's played in. She has posted 17 multi-block matches, including a seven-block outing at Toledo on Oct. 29 and two six-block efforts against Howard on Sept. 4 and Northern Illinois on Oct. 9.
- Miami boasts seven newcomers on its 2021 roster, comprising 41% of the MU roster.
ECLIPSING 750 CAREER WINS: With a 3-0 win versus Buffalo on Jan. 22, 2021, Miami head coach
Carolyn Condit posted her 750th career win. Condit owns a 769-586 career record entering her 42nd season as a head coach. Condit's 769 total victories are tied for eighth among active NCAA Division I coaches, and tied for 24th all-time. Owning more victories than any coach in the history of the Miami Athletic Department, Condit holds a 670-508 record and is in her 38th season in charge of the Red and White. Condit is the only volleyball coach in the history of the Mid-American Conference to win over 300 league matches, holding a conference mark of 371-228.
