Hockey Preview: North Dakota

After playing seven of its first eight games on the road, the Miami hockey team will host its first home series of the 2021-22 season this weekend when North Dakota comes to town. The Fighting Hawks are currently ranked No. 7 in both major polls.
Puck drop at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Friday and 5:05 p.m. Saturday. The games will be available on NCHC.tv. Friday's contest will air on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.) and Saturday's series finale will be available on WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio).
Miami enters the weekend at 2-5-1 (1-1 NCHC), while North Dakota is 6-3-0 (2-0 NCHC)
Head coach Chris Bergeron and sophomore forward Matthew Barbolini met with the media this week to preview the North Dakota series.
