A faceoff win gave the Falcons possession, which they used to move the puck quickly in Miami territory from T.J. Lloyd to Brayden Krieger, before a pass to and shot from Ethan Scardina sealed the 2-1 score.
- 15:45 2nd (Bowling Green 2-2) | Following a series of missed shots from Miami, Bowling Green took control of the puck and moved into Miami territory. A pass from Coale Norris to Austen Swankler drew Miami goalie Ludvig Persson away from the net, with Swankler then shooting the puck in.Â
