Meet The Team – Dae Dae Grant

Over the next several weeks, MiamiRedHawks.com will be spending time with each member of the Miami University men's basketball team, getting up close and personal with each RedHawk. On today's episode, "Voice of the RedHawks" Steve Baker sits down with sophomore guard Dae Dae Grant and head coach Jack Owens to discuss Grant's first year with the RedHawks and the important role he will play this season.
Grant has had a fantastic debut season in 2019-20, where he earned a spot on the Mid-American Conference All-Freshmen Team. He appeared in all 32 games and made 29 starts. Grant finished third on Miami in scoring, averaging 9.3 points per contest. He was also third on the 'Hawks with 61 total assists. Grant scored in double figures in 17 games last season, including a season-best 20 points against Western Michigan on Feb. 4.
Grant is majoring in sport leadership and management.
