OXFORD, Ohio—Miami University men's basketball has added a tournament to its home schedule, hosting the Miami Invitational December 9-11. In addition to the RedHawks, Western Illinois and Mount St. Joseph will participate in the tournament.
 
The RedHawks open the Miami Invitational against Western Illinois at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9 and will close the invite with a game against Mount St. Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 11. Western Illinois and Mount St. Joseph will play a neutral-site game at Millett Hall at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 10.
 
This will be the third meeting between Miami and Western Illinois with the RedHawks holding a 2-0 lead in the series. The last meeting was in Macomb, Ill., with the Red and White snagging a 76-73 overtime win on December 2, 2017. Miami won the first meeting between the teams, posting an 81-72 triumph in Millett Hall on November 26, 2016.
 
This will be the first meeting between Miami and Mount St. Joseph.
