Miami Softball Signs Four to NLIs

The four student-athletes will join the RedHawks in the fall of 2021.
OXFORD, Ohio — Miami University head softball coach Kirin Kumar has announced and welcomed to campus the RedHawks' four incoming recruits who will make up the softball 2021 signing class.
The following student athletes are now the newest RedHawks: Jenna Golembiewski (Woodstock, Ill.), Maggie Murphy (Novi, Mich.), Chloe Parks (Indianapolis, Ind.), and Macee Roberts (Indianapolis, Ind.).
ABOUT THE RECRUITS:
Jenna Golembiewski, Outfielder, 5-8, Woodstock, Ill. (Marian Central Catholic)
High School: Currently attends Marian Central Catholic High School … coached by Kurt Farnam … team captain as a junior and senior … 2019 All-State selection … won a regional championship in 2019 … All-East Suburban Catholic All-Conference selection in both 2018 and 2019 … also played on the basketball team in high school that won the 2020 regional championship … also played volleyball. Personal: Full name is Jenna Golembiewski … born on March 29, 2003 … daughter of LeAnn and Gus … also has a brother, AJ, that plays baseball at Illinois-Springfield.
Maggie Murphy, Shortstop/Utility, 5-9, Novi, Mich. (Mercy)
High School: Currently attends Mercy High School … team captain for softball as a senior … also plays hockey at Mercy, where she has been a captain since a sophomore ... named an All-State honorable mention as a sophomore ... posted a .584 batting average, with 12 home runs during her sophomore season. Personal: Full name is Margaret Murphy … born on April 7, 2003 … daughter of Katie and Mike.
Chloe Parks, Second Base/Outfield, 5-7, Indianapolis, Ind. (Roncalli)
High School: Currently attends Roncalli High School … coached by David Lauck … team captain as a junior and senior … Named All-Conference and All-County as a sophomore … ranked third in her school history in batting average with a career average of .483 … has a career total of 24 stolen bases over the course of her two seasons.
