Golf to Compete in Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Miami golf team travels to West Lafayette this weekend to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational. The RedHawks hope that their experience with the course plays into their favor.
Kampen Golf Course is the home course of Purdue University and will be the location of the Boilermaker Invitational. This course is a par-72, 7,465-yard course.
"A lot of our guys have played junior golf there," said head coach Zac Zedrick. "We feel very comfortable there."
Competing against the RedHawks will be Ball State, Cincinnati, Illinois State, Indiana, Kent State, Michigan, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Santa Clara, Southern Illinois, Wisconsin, and the host Purdue.
Miami's lineup will consist of redshirt senior Brian Ohr, junior Cam Solomon, sophomore Charlie Nikitas, sophomore Jack Mortell, and freshman Jack Ebner. Jack Katarincic will be there competing as an individual.
The RedHawks will play the first two 18-hole rounds on Saturday with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring, courtesy of Golfstat, can be found here.
