
Miami in 14th After Day One of Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Miami golfers sit in 14th place at 18-over par after two rounds of the Boilermaker Invitational. The RedHawks shot a 293 in the morning and a 301 in the afternoon while Illinois State is the current team leader at 16-under par.
Redshirt senior Brian Ohr and junior Cam Solomon are both tied for 35th at one-over par. Ohr shot a one-over par 73 and an even par 72 while Solomon shot rounds of 72 and 73. Junior Jack Katarincic competed as an individual and is currently tied for 63rd at six-over par with round scores of 72 and 78.
Sophomore Charlie Nikitas is currently tied for 71st at nine-over par following rounds of 76 and 77. Sophomore Jack Mortell also finished the day tied for 71st at nine-over par after shooting rounds of 74 and 79. Freshman Jack Ebner shot a 74 and 80 to end the day tied for 76th at 10-over par.
Miami will begin the final round of play on Sunday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
