
Miami Finishes Tied for Seventh at FAU Spring Championship

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The RedHawks finished the FAU Spring Championship tied for seventh at four-under par and had a five-under par final round of 283. UCF won the team championship at 35-under par.
Sophomore Charlie Nikitas shot a five-under par 67 to finish in a tie for fifth at eight-under par. The individual champion was UCF's Bobby Bai at 16-under par, the second lowest score in tournament history.
Redshirt senior Brian Ohr and sophomore Jack Mortell both finished tied for 34th at one-over par. Ohr shot a 73 and Mortell shot a one-under par 71 in the final round.
Freshman Jack Ebner had a final round of 72 to finish tied for 55th at six-over par. Finishing tied for 58th at seven-over par was junior Jack Katarincic with a 75 in the final round. Redshirt junior JD Fletcher shot a 79 in round three to finish in 78th place.
The Miami golfers will be back in action April 13-14 for the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana.
