SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Miami University golf team finished the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate in sixth place at 14-over par after a three-over par 291 in the final round. Mississippi State won the team championship at eight-under par and the individual champion was Garrett Johnson of Mississippi State at nine-under par.

Freshman Jack Ebner was the top finisher for the RedHawks. He shot a three-over par 75 in the final round to end the weekend in 13^th place at two-over par. Right behind Ebner was sophomore Charlie Nikitas who shot a 73 in the final round to tie for 14^th at three-over par.

Redshirt senior Brian Ohr's one-under par 71 was the best final round score for Miami. He finished tied for 22^rd at six-over par. Tied for 28^th at seven-over par was sophomore Jack Mortell who shot a 76 in round three. Junior Jack Katarincic shot a 72 today and finished in 60^th at 18-over par. Redshirt junior JD Fletcher competed as an individual and shot an 86 in round three to finish in 66^th at 28-over par.

Miami will be off until March 29-31 when it competes at the FAU Spring Break Championship in Boca Raton, Florida.
