
Golf Tied for Sixth at FAU Spring Championship

BOCA RATON, Fla. – After 18 holes at the FAU Spring Championship, the RedHawks shot a 292 and are tied for sixth place at four-over par. Redshirt senior Brian Ohr is the top individual performer for Miami. He shot a one-under par 71 to end the day tied for eighth. Bethune-Cookman is the current team leader at six-under par, and Bobby Bai of UCF is the top individual at five-under par.
Sophomore Jack Mortell shot an even par 72 and is tied for 15th while sophomore Charlie Nikitas shot a one-over par 73 and is tied for 21st. Junior Jack Katarincic sits in a tie for 48th at four-over par. Tied for 62nd is freshman Jack Ebner at six-over par.
Competing as an individual is redshirt junior JD Fletcher. After shooting an 81, Fletcher is in 76th place.
Miami will tee off round two Saturday at 10:50 a.m.
