BLUFFTON, S.C. – The Miami University golf team looks to continue its hot streak this Monday and Tuesday as it travels to South Carolina for the Colleton River Collegiate. The RedHawks placed second last year and look to come away with the championship this year.
"This is probably our sixth or seventh time going, so it's a place where we've had a lot of familiarity and some success," said head coach Zac Zedrick. "Our expectation is if we take care of our business, we'll go into the last round with a chance to win."
The tournament will be played at the Colleton River Pete Dye Course which is a par-72, 7,180-yard course. The teams competing include Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Southern, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Memphis, Oakland, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin and the host Michigan State.
Miami's lineup will include redshirt senior Brian Ohr, junior Jack Katarincic, sophomore Charlie Nikitas, sophomore Jack Mortell and freshman Jack Ebner. Competing as an individual will be redshirt junior JD Fletcher.
The RedHawks will play 36 continuous holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Live scoring can be found here via Golfstat.
