ABOUT SAINT LOUIS
The Billikens are coming off a 38-20 season that saw them win the Atlantic 10 with a 19-4 record. They advanced to the NCAA Regionals with an A-10 Tournament win. The strength of their team is their pitching as SLU returns three starters and seven total pitchers from a staff that had an ERA of 3.47 last season and held opponents to a .228 batting average. Saint Louis is working in several new position players as it returns only three regular starters from last season. That includes junior outfielder Jake Garella, who hit .352 with 47 RBIs in 2018.
