Miami heads to the Synchronized Fall Classic in Irvine, Calif.
OXFORD, Ohio – After getting its first score under its belt this season, Miami's senior synchronized skating team flies out west to compete for the second-straight weekend.
The RedHawks head to Irvine, Calif. for the Synchronized Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday. Friday will see MU take part in the short program at around 5:38 p.m. PT (8:38 p.m. ET). On Saturday, the Red & White wrap up the weekend with their free skate around 7:20 p.m. PT (10:20 p.m. ET).
Miami began its season a week ago at the Diamond Classic where its short program placed first with a strong debut of 57.09. The Red & White will try to clean things up in their free skate, where they suffered from a few deductions in their score to build some momentum towards next month's Dr. Richard Porter Classic.
A full recap of the competition will be available on MiamiRedHawks.com with updates from the road provided on the team's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.
