Miami Plays Prairie View A&M in Preseason WNIT

The two teams will play on the campus of South Alabama.
ON TAP: Miami (0-1) travels to the campus of South Alabama for its final two games of the Preseason WNIT. The RedHawks face Prairie View A&M on Thursday. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET. Fans can listen to the game on The Miami Sports Network from Van Wagner.
LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks fell in its season opener at No. 18 DePaul by a 79-98 margin last Friday. Savannah Kluesner led the Miami offense with 21 points while Kelly McLaughlin collected 10 boards. Peyton Scott and Kennedy Taylor also scored in double figures as four returning RedHawks had career games against the Blue Demons.
ABOUT PRAIRIE VIEW A&M: The Panthers won their season opener before falling to Oklahoma in the first round of the preseason WNIT last weekend. In the season opener, Prairie View A&M beat Texas A&M - Kingsville by a 85-55 margin. PVAMU saw four players score in double figures as the team shot 57.9 percent from the floor and 47.8 percent from long range. Against Oklahoma, Tatyana Perez led the Panthers' offense with a 20-point game.
SERIES WITH THE PANTHERS: This is the first-ever meeting between Miami and Prairie View A&M.
LOOKING AHEAD: Depending on the outcome of the game against Prairie View A&M, Miami will face either South Alabama or Texas A&M - Corpus Christi on Friday at either 5:30 p.m. ET or 8 p.m. ET to wrap up Preseason WNIT action.
