NASSAU, Bahamas – After competing in the Quail Valley Intercollegiate in Florida, the Miami golfers are headed even further south to compete in the White Sands Invitational in Nassau, Bahamas. The tournament will be hosted by the University of Houston and played at the Ocean Club with a par 72, 7,159-yard course.
"It's an excellent field," said head coach Zac Zedrick. "It's going to look similar to what you would see at a regional, so it will be a great barometer for us."
The tournament will consist of 15 teams including Wake Forest, SMU, Arkansas, UAB, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Illinois State, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Northern Illinois, Samford, Wisconsin and Houston.
Miami's lineup will consist of senior Jack Katarincic, junior Charlie Nikitas, junior Jack Mortell, redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg and freshman Danny Fisher. The RedHawks will also be taking senior Cam Solomon and sophomore Jack Ebner to compete as individuals.
The tournament will take place over three days, Friday through Sunday, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. each morning. Live scoring is available here courtesy of Golfstat.
