
RedHawks Tied for Sixth at White Sands Invitational

NASSAU, Bahamas – The Miami University golf team shot a six-under par round of 282 during the first found of the White Sands Invitational. The RedHawks are currently tied for sixth and are seven strokes behind first place Florida State.
Junior Charlie Nikitas was the top golfer for Miami in round one. He shot a three-under par 69 and is tied for 14th. One shot behind Nikitas at two-under par and tied for 20th is senior Jack Katarincic.
Redshirt sophomore Jack Herceg shot a one-under par 71 and is currently tied for 29th. Junior Jack Mortell ended the day tied for 41st at even par. Tied for 68th at three-over par is freshman Danny Fisher.
Competing as individuals are senior Cam Solomon and sophomore Jack Ebner. Both Solomon and Ebner shot rounds of 73 and are tied for 53rd.
