OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University men's basketball team looks for its fourth straight victory as it hosts Toledo on Tuesday. Tip time is at 7 p.m. and it airs live on ESPN+. An audio broadcast of the game will be available on the RedHawk IMG Sports Network Tunein App.

KINGS FIRECRACKERS AT HALFTIME: The famous Kings Firecrackers jump rope team will be making their annual appearance at Millett Hall to perform their routine at halftime.

BEHIND THE WIN: The RedHawks 67-53 win over previously unbeaten in MAC play Bowling Green on Saturday was their best defensive effort of the season. The 53 points allowed was the second fewest points allowed in a game this year (lowest was 42 against Midway on Nov. 12). It was the fewest points allowed in a MAC game since Miami gave up 53 in a 71-53 victory over Ball State on Jan. 20, 2018.

Redshirt sophomore guard Milos Jovic and redshirt senior forward Aleks Abrams were especially efficient in the win. Jovic was on the court for 15:05 on Saturday, and the RedHawks outscored the Falcons 28-17 during that period. Miami scored 2.21 points per minute while he was on the floor. The Red and White scored 2.20 points per minute during the 10:26 that Abrams was on the floor, outscoring BGSU, 23-13.

RINGO UPDATE: Despite being in only his second year with Miami, senior guard Darrian Ringo now ranks ninth all-time in school history with 342 career assists and 10th with 142 career steals.

ABOUT TOLEDO: The Rockets are 16-4 overall and 4-3 in the MAC. They have won two out of three games since their first meeting with Miami two weeks ago. That includes a 76-72 victory over Central Michigan in their last game on Saturday. Toledo is a strong offensive team that averages 80.7 points per game. Four different players average in double figures led by senior guard Jaelan Sanford. He averages 17.0 points per game. Another key player is junior forward Willie Jackson. He nearly averages a double-double with 9.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest.

THE SERIES WITH ROCKETS: The RedHawks hold a 68-60 lead in the all-time series. However, the Rockets have won the past 11 meetings between the two schools. That includes a 71-59 victory just two weeks ago on Jan. 15 in Toledo. Miami overcame a slow start to pull within one point midway through the second half, but the Rockets were able to pull away late to secure the win. Sophomore guard Nike Sibande led Miami with a season-high 26 points in the contest.

UP AHEAD: The RedHawks will be on the road for five of their seven games in the month of February. It starts with a trip to Ypsilanti on Saturday for a contest against Eastern Michigan. Tip time is at 2 p.m. and it will air live on ESPN+.
