Baseball
Last Week: The RedHawks (15-9, 4-2 MAC) had a strong weekend at home as they hosted Toledo for a trio of games. Miami opened the series in dramatic fashion, coming back from a 7-6 deficit by scoring a single tally in both the eighth and ninth innings, the latter a Parker Massman walk-off single. The freshman's clutch hit handed the `Hawks an 8-7, series-opening victory (Recap). Saturday saw Toledo grab an early lead before Miami would rally to tie at at four apiece. However, the Rockets would get a pair of runs in the seventh and ninth frames to seal a 8-4 victory (Recap). Sunday's series finale was arguably more dramatic and exciting as Friday. Down three entering the eighth, the Red & White pushed across three runs in the inning before Hayden Senger's walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth ended and got MU its second series win in as many opportunities (Recap). This Week: The RedHawks remain home for the coming weekend as they host Bowling Green.
Softball
