The RedHawks and Panthers meet for the first time.
ON TAP: Miami hosts High Point on Tuesday, Nov. 20 for the annual Goals for Life game. Tip-off is set for noon. The game will be aired on ESPN+ and called on Miami Radio. The RedHawks host nearly 1,000 local middle school students to Miami's campus and Millett Hall.
LAST TIME OUT: The Red & White powered past the Detroit Mercy Titans with a 78-59 road win on Friday. Savannah Kluesner (25 points), Abbey Hoff (16 points) and Nia Clark (six points) all had career games as Miami put together its best shooting performance so far this season. Â The RedHawks finished the game plus-nine in rebounds and minus-five in turnovers as they scored 56 points in the paint and 28 off turnovers.
ABOUT HIGH POINT: The Panthers (2-1) started the season strong at home with two wins. High Point beat North Carolina Central by an 80-69 margin in the season opener before blowing out Mars Hill by an 86-36 margin. The Panthers' first loss of the season came on Sunday at the hands of Kentucky by a 49-71 margin. Emma Bockrath leads High Point's scoring, averaging 19.0 points per game while Bria Gibson leads in rebounding, averaging 9.0 rebounds per game.
SERIES WITH THE PANTHERS: This is the first meeting between Miami and High Point.
