
Swimmers Wrap Up Stint at Olympic Trials

OMAHA, Neb.-A pair of Miami University swimmers wrapped up their stints at the Olympic Trials this week and boasted strong swims while in Omaha, Nebraska.
Elise Campbell, who has two years of eligibility remaining with the RedHawks, came into the Olympic trials with the 112th-best qualifying time in the 100m breaststroke, which she posted at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Indianapolis, Ind. on June 3, 2016. Campbell finished in 79th place out of 123 competitors with a time of 1:11.85 on Monday.
Evan Bader, who recently completed his eligibility with the RedHawks, had the 87th-best qualifying time in the 200m breaststroke, which he notched at the Speedo Sectionals in Columbus, Ohio on July 22, 2015. Bader clocked a time of 2:19.92 at the Olympic Trials to finish in 70th place out of 98 competitors on Wednesday.
Additionally, incoming freshman Isabel (Izzy) Herb qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 100m backstroke and finished in 130th place out of 155 competitors in a time of 1:04.32 on Monday.
