Golf Remains in Fourth at MAC Championship

SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Miami University golf team remains in fourth place after three rounds of the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championship. The RedHawks had their best round of the tournament so far on Friday, shooting a seven-over par 291 to stand at 36-over par overall. Kent State remains in the lead at 12-over par.
Redshirt freshman Brian Ohr is still the top Miami golfer individually. He shot a three-over par round of 74 on Friday and is tied for fourth at three-over par. He is four shots out of the individual lead held by Northern Illinois' Joo-Young Lee at one-under par.
Sophomore Patrick Flavin had the RedHawks' best score in the third round, finishing with a one-under par 70. He is tied for 12th at eight-over par.
Senior Jack Sparling shot a 77 on Friday and is tied for 23rd at 14-over par. Junior Greg Conrad had his best round of the tournament so far with a 73 and is tied for 32nd at 18-over par. Senior Daniel Schwarz is tied for 36th at 20-over par after shooting a 74 on Friday.
