Nelson Named MAC Co-Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND— The Mid-American Conference announced today that Miami University sophomore Liam Nelson was named MAC Co-Golfer of the Week. Nelson captured his second win of the season at Monday's Muirfield Shootout, finishing as co-medalist in an 81-player field with a three-under-par score of 72-69 – 141. His performance helped Miami tie for second place as a team in a field of multiple top-100 programs. Nelson made a total of nine birdies and had the lowest round in the afternoon.

Nelson and the RedHawks are back in action at the MAC Championship beginning Sunday, May 3 at Holliday Farms in Zionsville, Ind.
