Will Sullivan Signs Contract with Donar Gronignen

OXFORD, Ohio-Will Sullivan, a four-year standout for the Miami University men's basketball program, has signed a professional contract to play overseas with Donar Gronignen in the Netherlands.
"I am so thankful that my four years at Miami led to this amazing opportunity," said Sullivan. "Donar Gronignen is a great organization with a great basketball culture. I am excited to get there and begin my next journey. I want to thank everyone at Miami University who has helped me get where I am."
A versatile guard for the RedHawks, Sullivan played in every game during his Miami career from 2012-15, tying the program record for career games played at 124. He made 84 career starts for the RedHawks. In his final season at Miami, he was the RedHawks' second-leading scorer (10.7 ppg) and leading rebounder (4.8 rpg). As a senior, Sullivan ranked second in the Mid-American Conference in 3-point field-goal percentage (.444) and knocked down 68 triples in 2014-15 to tie for sixth on Miami's single-season chart. Sullivan finished eighth on Miami's career 3-point field goal percentage list (.395).
Located in Groningen, Netherlands, Donar competes in the Dutch Basketball League and has won four national titles, including one in 2014. It also has captured four domestic cup championships, winning three in the last five years including back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015.
Sullivan, a native of Elmhurst, Ill., who prepped at York High School, graduated from Miami University in 2015 with a degree in finance. He joins a list of recent Miami men's basketball players who have gone on to play professional basketball overseas.
