OXFORD, Ohio -- Wednesday night's baseball game between Xavier and Miami at McKie Field has been postponed by wet grounds, Head Coach Dan Simonds announced today.
The game has been rescheduled for May 17 with a time to be announced.
The Musketeers were originally slated to visit Oxford on March 30, but that game was postponed as well. The teams have already met three times this year with Xavier winning twice -- at home and in Florida. Miami won last week's meeting in the Joe Nuxhall Classic.
The RedHawks return to action on Friday with the start of a three-game weekend series at Akron. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
