Men's Basketball to Hold Three Summer Camps

OXFORD, Ohio-Miami University men's basketball will hold three camps on the Oxford campus this summer.
The first is a High School Shootout from June 20-21 for boys varsity basketball teams. This camp guarantees each team at least four games officiated by OHSAA certified officials in addition to camp T-shirts for the campers. Housing and meals are included in the camp cost, which is $125 per player per team for residential campers. Commuter cost is $100 per player per team.
The second camp is the 2011 Charlie Coles Miami Basketball Camp from June 26-30. Campers have the opportunity to learn from Miami coaches, while also interacting and learning from their favorite RedHawk players on a daily basis. During the course of the camp, campers will be taught many valuable basketball skills and drills. Instruction focuses on the fundamentals of basketball with a specific emphasis on individual improvement, team offense, team defense, and shooting. Camp cost is $150 per camper with a Miami University faculty/staff discount of $135.
The third camp, which is a new edition to the men's basketball camp lineup, is the Junior High Shootout on July 23 for boys junior high school teams. There is a guarantee of three games per team in addition to camp T-shirts and basketballs for the campers. Cost of the camp is $25 per player per team.
